As a native Montanan, the wilderness has always been my home. I grew up outside, immersed in the quiet rhythm of nature, where I learned to listen, observe, and exist as part of the landscape. My wildlife and landscape photography are an extension of that lifelong bond — an effort to capture the soul of the untamed without intrusion, to honor the creatures and landscapes I encounter by preserving their moments undisturbed.
For me, photography is more than an art form; it is a sanctuary. The stillness of the wild brings me peace, and in return, I seek to reflect that serenity through my lens. Every frame carries a deep emotional resonance — an unspoken dialogue between myself and the subject, a fleeting moment of connection that I hope others can feel.
My creative journey is woven with the influence of those who came before me. My family contains a long line of artists, that shaped my understanding of expression and craft. And my daughter, a budding photographer whose vision was taken too soon, remains a guiding presence in my work. Through my images, I honor her spirit, carrying forward the love of storytelling she embraced so naturally.
In my photography, I hope to offer viewers a glimpse into the quiet majesty of the wild — to inspire awe, reverence, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
