The Sentry
The stallion stands, guardian of the Wyoming landscape and his kind. The mountains as border of his terrain, he keeps watchful and faithful eye while the others embrace the freedom of the grasslands. The Sentry protects with a look that reminds all who approach:

King Of His Domain
This bull elk rules the kingdom of his herd with an imposing but dignified stature. He strides across the land and calls to them with power and solemnity. They gather at his command. They follow where he directs, knowing he moves with their security in mind. His reign is successful due to faithful subjects.
The Debate
A flock of turkeys take a moment to discuss the finer points of life in The Breaks with a bull elk. The imposing elk strikes little fear in the birds as they announce their side of the argument. Territorial rights? Wildlife politics? The details are unknown to human ears. The conversation, however, continues season after season, with no real winner announced.
Rousing The Roost
As the morning fog breaks, wild turkeys stir from their tree roost to begin another autumn day. Their calendars are full: feeding, drinking, preening after waking. Then time for a midday loaf before their afternoon meals and daily symposiums with the elk.
McCullough Peaks Stallion
The stallion weathers the whims of the season and the wilds of the land, and the effects leave their marks as commentary. His gnarled mane and burred side speak to the years he’s spent in the wilderness. His life is one of freedom with his herd. Freedom without hardship is impossible in a place such as this. To exist unbound; to roam, to run with only the elements to slow you: this is worth cost of all adversity.
